Today’s day of horror almost didn’t happen. I’m experiencing my own personal horror in the form of some pretty gnarly digestive issues. But I can’t flake out on the second day, so let’s talk about another one of my old favorites rather than something I haven’t seen before. I just don’t have that kind of attention span today.

Doctor Mike has ruined me for medical scenes. I’m sitting here watching Dr. Cain doing chest compressions screaming in my head about how terrible he is.

I love how dramatic Herbert West is in his first class, snapping pencils in half and directly calling out Dr. Hill. I can’t help but laugh at how openly creepy Hill is toward Megan in front of her father. So much of the dialog is just plain funny. What was I supposed to say, cat dead, details later? The naked morgue scene. The whole Dr. Hill plot. It’s so delightfully ridiculous and a joy to watch every time. And I love all things Jeffrey Combs.
